  1. Pat says:

I have always had very little sex drive. It cost my first marriage. I went to doctors but all I heard was it is stress, my childhood or I am trying to hard. It is all false. When I was 36 I had a full hysterectomy. It has been 9 years and I have no sex drive at all. It is causing a lot of problems with my common law and I, Having sex is so painful.I am so dry. My doctor has given me creams but it does not last. I get very dry fast. I am on 2 types of pills. Zoloft and Quetiapine. My doctor that I have now told me it was cause from my meds.I had this problem before I started my meds. Please can you help me.

    • admin says:

Sorry to hear about your problems. Hysterectomy and all these meds really can adversely impact your sex drive. Stress and other lifestyle factors play a major role as well. Normal lubricants may or may not work so it is worth trying something like hersolution which not only lubricates but also increases blood flow in the genital area thereby improving your sensations. This not only makes you want more but also increases your pleasure and enjoyment which helps your body’s natural lubrication mechanisms to take over eventually.

  2. julie says:

Before it was banished forever, I used Testrogel. I never had any of the negative side effects from testosterone. Why do you think it was taken off the market? Was it being abused by women? And what could I use to take its place?

    • admin says:

FDA determined that TestroGel was promoted with claims that caused it to be ‘a drug’ under section 201 (g)(1)(C) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (the Act) (21 U.S.C. 321(g)(1)(C)). As a result, they were taken off the market. No other product with similar claims is allowed to be sold without prescription.

  3. Yvonne says:

I had Breast Cancer last year. It was hormonal, but with the surgery and radiation, my sex drive is oh, about zero. Obviously, this frustrates my husband. My question is I have to stay away from any natural or synthetic hormonal treatments. Would this product (or is there a product) that would be safe for me to use. Thanks for your time

    • admin says:

With your doctor’s permission you might be okay trying out the gels as their impact is more localized than pills. But since you have been told to stay away from natural treatments, you must seek your doctor’s advice first.

  4. Alex says:

My wife really wants to order this product. Is there any kind of aspirin in its ingredients? Or any thing that would trigger seizures?

    • admin says:

No there is no aspirin in the ingredients but if your wife suffers from seizures please consult your doctor before taking any herbal supplements – not just the ones mentioned on this site.

  5. Lyann says:

OMg. I have kids, they are a handful of stress at times…. Anyway, I am really worried about my sex drive. It’s not like i don’t want to have sex, I just don’t feel like it. I too give in to my other half just to shut him up but it upsets me. I don’t understand what’s going on. My self-esteem may play a part because mamahood just messes with body parts, inside and out. What can I do?

    • admin says:

I know of a friend of mine who went through the same things as you are doing after she had kids – and believe me there any thousands more just like you. Obviously motherhood makes a lot of changes to yourself – both physically and mentally and it can take a toll on your sex life. You should try to devote some time to yourself and spend as much time as you can alone with your husband. Play out some of fantasies and if possible try to take a weekend break alone with him. You could use these pills/gel as well to give you that extra desire that you are lacking…

  6. trish says:

hey i have diabetes just wondering if it was safe to use these products

    • admin says:

They are not known to cause any adverse effect for diabetic women but it always advisable to consult your doctor first.

  7. kris says:

Thank you admin for your guidance. I will report back with results. BTW, I ordered Her Solution on Tuesday, used the free shipping which said 8-10 days, I got them by Thursday! I have been on them for 3 days now. I will keep you all posted on my progress.

  8. Nancy says:

I am 55 and had a complete hysterectomy in 2004 due to an ovarian cancer scare. I still have my cervix. No one informed me that my otherwise great sex drive would vaporize post surgery. I recently took a his/hers weekend massage workshop with my husband with energy work and learning how to touch one another. The day I received touch without expectation and gave to my husband without his expectation was the day my libido resurfaced. I’m sure this is both psychological and physical I guess. I still have to nurture my libido, however, and am interested in Her Solution Gel. In 1975 I contracted herpes, but fortunately had only a few outbreaks since then. I heard L-Arginine causes herpes outbreaks and I don’t want to awaken a sleeping monster. Isn’t that the main ingredient of Her Solution Gel. What do you know about this? Thank you.

    • admin says:

Hi.. Hersolution Gel does not contain L-arginine in a concentration that is high enough to cause an outbreak so you should be safe. However, every individual is different so you need to keep that in mind.

  9. Nicole says:

Is it safe to use your products whilst pregnant?

  10. kris says:

    Please help,
I am 31, newlywed of 9 months. I have had my left and 1/2 of my right ovary removed when I was 9 due to a tumor. I have never had much of a libido. I have been with my husband for 5 years. He has a HUGE sex drive. He has been very unhappy and gave me the “needs more sex” speech last night, again. Is my non existent libido due to my surgery? My gyno doesn’t seem to really care about this issue. But my marriage is very unhappy right now. I need to fix this before it all goes bad. I also went off birth control last month. (been on it for 13 years). Not trying to get prego, but just sick of it.

~Will this pill be bad to take now because I just went off of birth control last month?
~Is the lack of sex drive due to my surgery?
~Is this 100% safe to take, no side effects?
~Is the pill something you have to take for the rest of your life?

Please help me save my marriage.

    • admin says:

Hi.. Birth control pills are known to reduce sex drive in a lot of women so this is something that could be effecting you. Prophylactic ovary removal is also known to decrease sex drive. These pills are 100% natural and safe. Side effects include increase in breast size for some women. You can try these and they could really help. You should also try other things along with these like using erotic reading, pictures, films, change of location, dancing and activities that physically move the pelvic area. This will help stimulate your senses and revive your sex drive. Wish you all the Best!! And hey, be open about it with your husband… his support is crucial!

  11. Feetie says:

I’m just wondering if a woman of 56 who has had a hysterectomy and is on vivelle estrogen patch can take these pills. I find I’m sensitive to herbs and once tried saw palmetto, which dang near put me up the wall because I was so horny and I was that way for several hours but I had the shakes and my heart was beating so fast I thought I’d die but man did that sexual feeling feel good. I hadn’t had that since I turned 40. So I didn’t do that again. I know I Have to be careful what I mix with the estrogen so tell me, can I take these pills being you see my circumstances?

    • admin says:

It is not advisable to go for any herb considering you are so sensitive to them. If at all you wish to try it you should consult your doctor and ensure that you are not sensitive to any ingredient in these pills/gel. These herbs are really effective but they should be avoided if you are allergic/hyper-sensitive to any of them.

  12. christy says:

I BOUGHT THE PILLS!!!! I am 33 and I can relate so much to these posts,I too have had this low sex drive for a LONG time and I never get “in the mood” or initiate anything, I just have no desire whatsoever, sooo I went ahead a purchased the pills,I have been only taking them for a week 1/2 but I would like to share whats going on So Far, I was feeling a lot of cramping (at first) but that went away,I have to say tho my breast have grown BIGGER :) (NOT KIDDING) I also have notice that my clitoris its very sensitive, its still early to say about the “wanting sex” because so far nothing, but(ITS STILL TO EARLY),I will keep posting my results. I’m so glad that I found this site!!

  13. Rich says:

Does anyone know if it is okay to crush her solution pills and put them in water? My wife does not like swallowing pills? Or would this deactivate them? Thank you.

  14. Polly says:

Hi – I am pretty young, late 20′s. Ive been married for a few years now. I dont have any kids. However, lately, I find myself completely uninterested. It’s not that I’m uninterested in my husband, I just have no desire whatsoever. It wasn’t like this in the past – I used to love being with my husband every chance I got. I do have a history of sexual abuse, but I can’t imagine that this is the issue because why now? And thankfully my husband is very supportive with everything. I dont know what to do and its becoming a serious issue. I’ve tried exercising, experimental things, working on my self-esteem, etc. But none of that has worked. Is there anything I can do?

  15. Mary says:

Question; will any of these interfere with my birth control?

  16. Jodie says:

Tammy, I am with you… I am 30 with 3 kids and have absolutely no desire to have sex with my husband, I love him very much but the desire just is not there anymore. We had no problem in our early years. Just not sure which product to try.

  17. Ogloszenia Bielsko Biala says:

Simply desire to say your article is as surprising. The clarity in your post is just excellent and i could assume you’re an expert on this subject. Well with your permission let me to grab your RSS feed to keep updated with forthcoming post. Thanks a million and please carry on the rewarding work.

  18. Sheila says:

I can relate so much to these posts. I’m almost 43 and have lost desire. I believe part of that is due to my husband inability to last more than a minute. I don’t say this to shame him. Its frustrating for both of us. I think I will have to give this a try for myself and see if It will help before I completely give up and in turn hurt my marraige more.

    • admin says:

You could either try things with you or your husband could seek help. There are very effective ways to overcome this issue of early ejaculation – both psychological and physical. If your partner’s early ejaculation is the reason you are losing interest then that is what you need to focus on rather than yourself.

  19. Diane says:

Sue, I’m right there with you! I had the same operation done to me a year ago and I had tried Provestra for only 1 month and I seemed to feel more and had more libido, I am ordering the Hersolution pills and gel and pretty much praying it wasn’t a coincidence and I’ll know after using these if it was the provestra. Admin, could you tell me if these have helped women who have had hysterectomies? I’m just getting into the rage stage after being depressed for over a year at finding out how often women are lied to about getting hysterectomies. I’m not trying to get on a soapbox here, but if you know if these have a good success rate I would love to get on the support boards to help other women with this same problem ( I can’t believe how many women actually have the same problems, but don’t tell anyone thinking it’s just them because their doctors have told them their uterus is just for reproduction!) Again I’m not trying to be a downer here, I’m just desperately trying to get help for myself and many other women out there! Thanks for your time.

    • admin says:

I have heard from several women who have had hysterectomies and these supplements seemed to have worked very well for them. Of course, we have had some that report little or no effect as well. So it comes down to each individual and you’ll only know when you try it. But for most women this seems to work well.

  20. Sue says:

I had a total hysterectomy and ovaries removed in 1994. I immediately lost my sex drive and had absolutely no libido. I’m in a new relationship now and I still have no libido and I never orgasm anymore. My doctor told me to check out this site and I sure hope that I can find something that can help me once again feel the need for sex or I will be alone for the rest of my life. What should I use to get my feelings back and bring back my orgasims? I just thought that I had been spayed like my cat and everything was all over with. Help!

  21. Tammy says:

Please help. Im 30 and been married for 10yrs. We have 2 kids. I have no sex drive. Ive seen doctors and they says it in my head. I want to have sex with my husband. Its been months and I only finally have sex just to make him happy. Ireally want something that will make me have the feel to want to have sex and enjoy. HElP

  22. Steve says:

My fiance has a very low sex drive. I have a vey high sex drive. She is happy with having sex once a week and I would really like at least 4 times a week. I would be content with 3 times a week. When we do have sex, she has an orgasm, but again, it’s usually only once or twice a week. She refuses to even consider taking a “drug” to boost her sex drive. What can I do???

  23. Toolhead says:

Hi. My girl is 29 and I am 26. Though we are only a few years apart, she says that age has alot to do with our differences in sex drive. I just thought all guys, over or under 30, want sex all the time. She’s gone trough alot in the last year, and gained a few selfcontious pounds (still 160 looks damn good on her). Ok, now my questions. What would be best for her to try and how would i even start to suggest the idea of a sex drive enhancement? Also where would a good place to look for some new “unresistable and exciting” things to try?

  24. ZHA says:

Hi, I have a very active labido and depending on seems like the time of the year my wife is right up there with me and it is amazing… but majority of the time it seems like we go weeks without any intimacy and when we do it just seems like she’s not as into it as she would normaly be. We have just had our second child and maybe that has something to do with it. i was wondering what pill would you recomend would have the best results and also if to use the gels or creams how do they exactly work and what would be the best bet. And before i forget which pill has the fastet reaction?

    • admin says:

HerSolution PIlls/Gel is our #1 choice and you can read about how they work on their official sales websites. As far as the speed of results in concerned, it varies from individual to individual but you should start noticing results within a month or so of regular intake.

  25. John says:

Hi, my wife and I have been going through this with the birth of our 3rd child, a son. We both love the intimacy that we share in love making, it is great! Since the boys birth, my wife is having problems with arousal, stimulation, she knows her hormones are off and thought that the only thing she could do was HRT. I told her I’ll look into it for her and low and behold, here I am. Is there a certain type of this stuff she should use? And what about the mans role while she is going through all this? Just remain patient and loving, and supportive……it that what you recommend? Also, could you tell me what product is used most? Also If a woman has a set of problems, how do you determine which one is right for her?
    Thanks

    • admin says:

Hi John… A childbirth can cause a lot of hormonal imbalance. You were lucky that anything like that didn’t happen with the first two pregnancies. However, most of the time it corrects itself over time. How long has it been since you had your boy? If it hasn’t been too long you can try and wait and see if things return to normal. If they don’t then you can consult your doctor and see if there is a medical problem (which is unlikely). These supplements have proven to be very helpful in many such cases but as with all natural products, there is no 100% guarantee that they will work. You could either go with hersolution which is the most popular product or even try Woman’s Extenze which is proving to be very good – although we haven’t had a chance to review it properly yet.

  26. Shw says:

Hie, im a 27 year old woman, married for 2 years now…my sexual drive is very low..i was detected with thyroid problems about 4 years ago but never thought this would affect my sex life with my husband..i have very low sex drive..my husband has been very patient with me up until now..but i hope it doesnt get any worse…i Love my husband and i want to have babies one day but because of the lack of sex drive i duno if it would even happen??
is there anythin that would help me increase my sex drive..have no side effects…and have no problems incase we were to try to concieve??
    Please Help!!

    • admin says:

      Hi,
Thyroid problems are known to cause low sex drive. First of all make sure that you do the following (source: about . com):
      1. Make sure your thyroid drug treatment is optimal.
      2. Make sure your TSH level is the best for your health
      3. Check your hormones – get a full profile
      4. Have a thorough physical to rule out other non-thyroid health
      conditions

If these conditions are satisfied and you still have low sex drive then consider supplementation that we have discussed. They work to restore your hormonal balance and re-ignite your sex drive!

  27. Sam says:

Do any of these herbal supplements interact with oral contraceptives?

  28. lunitessa says:

I’ve read THESE testimonials…. Admin just said that these supplements this site reccommends “help you achieve a hormonal balance”. My hormones have NEVER been balanced, and I’m on psych meds to help me stay “sane”. If I’m “off”, I’m suicidal. I’m AFRAID of messing with my hormones, but I have absolutely NO sex drive, only feel stimulated if I do it myself, and I have been with a 10 year younger man for 6 years. I’m REALLY tired of pretending and faking! He is, (“was”), the best lover I’ve had, but I still can’t cum. Will these products help me???? Please respond…. Thank you!

    • admin says:

It is impossible to say if these products will help you till you try them. Only if you use them will you know if they made any difference. Worth a try?

  29. Shelly says:

My issued doesn’t have to do with sexual satisfaction and orgasm intensity.
I’m confused because this article says that the product is to help with libido problems, but ends by saying “let’s get you on the fast track to sexual satisfaction and orgasm intensity… etc…”
We have excellent sex and my partner is VERY generous with the orgasms. I’ve been known to have as many as 16 in one session! The norm is more like 5 or 6 though.
My problem is that I’m never interested anymore. The whole idea of sex just sounds like a chore.
So… will this product help the emotional/mental aspect or just the physical aspect?
I don’t want to live like this anymore. Having a man that is so sensual and who loves to satisfy me is a gift. I don’t want him to ever feel that he isn’t getting satisfied at home, because I’m sure someone else would be more than happy to give him a try!

    • admin says:

Good Point. These products’ main aim is to get your hormones in place and get you in the mood. IN addition, they do help in getting stronger orgasms and higher sexual intensity – which can’t be undesirable – Can they?

  30. Valerie B. says:

So, sadly, I am only 23 years old. I have a 20 month old son, and ever since him I have absolutely NO desire to have sex. My fiance and I are planning on getting married in the spring, however lately he has been getting quite irritable with the lack of sex. I can’t blame him, cause he has been quite patient thus far. Any recomendations for me? We want to have another baby, so I dont think I should use pills (also we did have a pregnancy a few months back and during the month and a half that I was pregnant I wanted sex constantly, unfortunately we lost the baby) But I dont know what the deal with me is… I need help now please!!!

    • admin says:

A lot of women face this problem after having a child. Remember your body goes through huge hormonal changes during and after a pregnancy. It is recommended that you get back to some exercise and healthy eating to help restore your hormone levels. In addition, the supplements we review also help you achieve a hormonal balance which should help re-ignite your passions!

  31. mjj says:

ARe theses products safe if you are trying to fall pregnant in the next couple of months? thanks

  32. rosa gonzalez says:

hi i am 26 yrs old i have two kids 4yr old and a 11 month old i live with my boyfriend im happy with what life has given me so far i can’t ask for anything else at this point of my life, but i have one huge problem since i had my first child i started to experience not LOW SEX DRIVE but NO SEX DRIVE and this is a very difficult experience specially when loving the person im with and wishing to please him any every and anyway i’ve talked to my gyn about this issue and it seems not to really concern her, i also tried consouling and its not pshycological, so i figured to try out this page to see if any one understands me and help me find a solution to this huge problem. can anyone please help me getting an answer to this? what do you recommend for me to do?

  33. oldergal says:

I am 52 and in pretty good health. I work out 3 to 4 days a week. My sex drive is very low. I am newly married and love my husband very much but it takes me forever to have a climax and some times it doesnt happen or not at all and when it does it is very weak. I have been in menopause since I gave birth to my last child and on hormone replacement Have talked to my doctor but they are no help.

  34. admin says:

Our product recommendations are clearly spelled on the site. It is difficult to say whether hersolution or provestra or some other product will help you but you won’t know until you try it out. by the way, don’t hesitate to claim your money back if it doesn’t work for you. you are entitled to get 100% of your cash back.

  35. Clueless says:

This is pretty weird for me I’ve never been on a site like this before but after another sad experience with my boyfriend I decided to do some research…thank god for this site! =] Okay to start off I just turned 20 years old and I have a very very veryyyyyy low sex drive. I hardly think about sex and I never get “in the mood” first or initiate anything. I love my boyfriend so much and being so young you would think we would be doing young wild things, I would love to but it just doesn’t come naturally. I want to please the man I love he’s the best, and I would like to know how it feels to please myself as well but I’m just not getting there. Please help. Any advise? =/

    • admin says:

Low sex drive is more common than you would imagine. And although psychological help isn’t completely useless it mostly comes down to your hormones. This is where these herbal formulations seem to work better than other things. Moreover they are safe which is a big concern with most things these days.

I have slowly but surely lost all sense of need for sex. I want it with my husband, but I just don’t get the sensations any more. Unfortunately my husband has been very patient and has now given up. He does not want to feel unloved. Yesterday he left me. Please help

  42. HunnyBunn says:

I am getting married also and I want to start my marriage with a bang but my sex drive has all but bottomed out. My fiance and I have been together for nearly 20 years and over time my desire for sex has decreased to where I just don’t even think about it like I used to. But I sooo miss that feeling of being hot and rarin’ to go!! My fiance who is older than I still has his desire but doesn’t press the issue when I tell him I’m not in the mood…

    • admin says:

Have you tried to be more experimental in what you do in the bedroom or in fact out of the bedroom? ;) Often, the same old routine can take the excitement out of the act with the same partner. If it does not work, you might want to consider supplements – oral or vaginal to fix your problem!

  43. Ronnie James Dio says:

This was fairly hard to find there was a lot of crap entries on this I am excited I finally found a post worthy of being under this search. Great stuff bookmarked cause I have a feeling another post on your site will answer other questions I have faster then searching bing.

  44. Gypsy says:

I have had two kids and my sex drive is pretty much hit or miss. My problem is that it takes forever getting aroused but once I do it’s over too fast!(like 5 min or less) Can anything help me with this??

    • admin says:

Are things getting too monotonous in the bedroom for you? This can be a leading cause of losing sex drive with the passage of time. If you keep on performing and maintaining the same routine all the time, you’ll end up with no surprises every time you have sex with your partner. One way to increase libido is to experiment and try out different ways to have sex, and incorporate a lot of play into sexual activity.
You may also want to consult a sex therapist to check if you have other physiological or psychological issues that may impair sexual function and sexual desires.

Are any of these products safe for breastfeeding moms? My lack of libido is do to child birth. I really need help but not at the expenses of being able to care for my baby.

Although products like HerSolution and Provestra are safe but as a lactating mother, I would go for gels (like hersolution gel or vigorelle) that get absorbed locally in the vagina thereby not getting passed on to your milk. Moreover they will give you nice vaginal lubrication as well which may have dried up considerably after giving birth! Good Luck!

I really like the quality of the vigorelle. It starts off slowly and I didn’t feel much of a difference to begin with but after a couple of weeks things started improving nicely.. I am ordering a 6 month supply
